Two Catholic High of Pointe Coupee seniors were named to the 2020 All-Metro Volleyball Team, according to their coach.

Tori Cameron and Blaire Bizette were among 12 players selected by Baton Rouge area coaches.

“Their countless hours in the gym, heart, and grit helped lead the Lady Hornets to the state quarterfinals and earned them this great honor,” said Meagan Meyers, Catholic-PC coach. “We are proud to have them represent the Lady Hornet volleyball program.”

Cameron and Bizette helped the Hornets win the Division V-District 5 championship and advance to the state tournament.

Both were named to the all-district first team and Cameron received the additional honor of being the offensive player of the year.
