Pearl Glenda Leufroy Butler, 65, departed this life and went home to be with Jesus on January 6, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born April 1, 1956 in Labarre, La. to the late Clifton Leufroy Sr. and the late Luvenia Leufroy a graduate of Rosenwald High School and attended Southern University.  Pearl was the beloved wife of Lawrence Butler in which their union produced 4 children, Cordelion Samuel, Shantel Penn, Corey Butler, Brian Keith Butler. She was preceded in death by her parent, father Clifton Leufroy Sr., mother Leuvenia Leufray, sister Mildred Waddles. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Lawrence Butler of New Roads, La.; daughter Cordelion Samuel of Baton Rouge, La.; daughter Shantel Penn of New Roads, La.; son Corey Butler of Addis, La.; son Brian Keith Butler (Germany) of Baton Rouge, La.; sister Ruby Simon (Nelson) of Frederick Maryland; brother Clifton Leufroy Jr. (Marilyn); 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 5 neices; 1 nephew; numerous cousins, sister in laws and friends.
