Four Pointe Coupee Parish volleyball players were recognized by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) for their academic achievements.

Two were named to the Composite All-Academic Team and two were named to the Class 1A All-Academic Team.

 Macy Bergeron of Livonia High and Anna Vosburg of Catholic High of Pointe Coupee were named to the Composite All-Academic Team for volleyball.

Sarah Brown and Ashlyn Landry, of Catholic-PC, were named to the Class 1A All-Academic Team.

The LHSAA All-Academic Award Program recognizes senior student-athletes who attain a 3.5 grade-point average or higher by naming them on the Composite All-Academic Team or Class All-Academic Team.

To earn Composite Team honors, a student-athlete’s six-semester GPA must be an un-weighted 4.00.

The Composite Team was honored at the LHSAA state volleyball championships this past weekend in Lafayette.
