Mrs. Odette Catlett Losavio, age 85, of Lettworth LA, passed away July 4, 2026 surrounded by the ones who love her. Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church in Morganza LA, with interment at St. Steven’s Church in Lettsworth, LA. directed by Nilands funeral home. Mrs. Losavio was a retired postmaster from Innis, a devoted wife, mother to her children, grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a pillar of her community and will be so lovingly missed by her friends and family. Survivors include her husband of 67 faithful years, Anthony “Buddy” Losavio who often referred to her as “The only rose he ever wanted”, four sons, Andy, Marvin, Sam, and Vince Losavio; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Buddy lovingly referred to her as “The perfect wife, Perfect mother, and most wonderful cook”. Mrs. Odette, Maw, Mama; Names referred to her from ones who know the weight that she carried daily. The glue that held the family together and never let anyone see the pain.
